NFL will schedule only division games Week 17

In an attempt to fix the problem of teams resting players to end the season, the NFL has decided to schedule only divisional matchups in week 17.

"We actually have 28 divisional games in those last three weeks, as opposed to 15 for the 2009 season, and all 16 of the final Week 17 games will be divisional games," Goodell said on "Mike & Mike in the Morning."

The NFL will release the full schedule Tuesday night.

Their were rumors of possible draft pick compensation for teams that clinched their division or playoff seeding.
