Kasey Kahne Headed to Hendrick Motorsports in 2012

According to an AP report, NASCAR driver Kasey Kahne is finalizing a deal to succeed Mark Martin in his No. 5 car for the 2012 season. Hendrick Motorsports is currently at the four-car limit enforced by NASCAR.

The current drivers are 4-time Sprint Cup Champion Jimmy Johnson, 3-time Sprint Cup Champion Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and the aforementioned Martin.

No one is sure of where Kahne will race in 2011. It is believed that he will leave Richard Petty Motorsports at the end of the current season.
