Bobcats coach Larry Brown after practice 4/19

Bobcats Wallace finishes third in DPOY

Bobcats all-star forward Gerald Wallace finished third in the 2009-2010 Defensive Player of the Year voting. Orlando Magic center, and first round playoff opponent, Dwight Howard finished first. Atlanta's Josh Smith finished second.

Howard lead the NBA in shots blocked and rebounds.

The three top vote getters all hail from the Southeast Division.

Gov. Perdue releases budget proposal

Governor Bev Perdue's proposed $19 billion budget proposal. Includes $1 billion in cuts and the loss of 600 jobs.
